Cleaning in Eyre Peninsula

What changes across the region.

Seafood and wet floors

Processing rooms, cool rooms and packing sheds run on hosed floors, drains and stainless steel. Work around them is booked after the day's processing ends, and drains, grates and boot-wash areas are listed as separate tasks.

Grain towns inland

Cummins, Cleve, Kimba and Wudinna serve the wheat and barley country across the middle of the peninsula. Offices, depots and community buildings there collect harvest dust, and a floor scrub after harvest is easy to add as periodic work.

The far west coast

Ceduna and Thevenard are the last big stop on the Eyre Highway before the Nullarbor, with a port shipping grain, gypsum and salt. Sites this far out are planned in longer blocks, with periodic jobs grouped into the same trip as regular visits.

We take on work across Eyre Peninsula. If your site is in one of these, the walk-through, the written scope and the visit record work the same way.

Questions

Cleaning in Eyre Peninsula: questions.

Can Port Lincoln and Ceduna sites be on one scope?

Yes, though they sit at opposite ends of the peninsula. Each site has its own visit days, and towns along the way, such as Cummins, Elliston or Streaky Bay, can be added to the run.

Can grain-town offices get an extra clean after harvest?

Yes. A post-harvest clean of entry mats, sills, vents and hard floors can be booked each year as periodic work, timed for when the trucks have gone and the dust has settled.

Do aquaculture sheds need different products from an office?

Usually. Wet sheds with stainless and drains suit food-safe detergents that match your own food-safety program, while lunchrooms and offices use general products. The scope lists which product goes where.

Can periodic jobs be grouped into one trip a year?

Yes. Carpet extraction, hard-floor scrubbing, windows to safe ladder height and pressure cleaning can be booked together once or twice a year, so one lot of travel covers all of it.

Send photos and a floor plan of your Eyre Peninsula site, or book a walk-through on site. We'll look at the wet areas, the dust and the trading hours, and send a written scope with the visit blocks and travel set out.
