Grapes, nuts and citrus
Irrigated horticulture drives the region: wine grapes, almonds, citrus and stone fruit. That brings cellar doors, sorting and packing sheds, workshop amenities and the offices beside them. Each has its own floors and its own hours, so the scope treats them as separate areas.
Vintage changes the calendar
Vintage runs from late summer into autumn, and lunchrooms, toilets and offices used by harvest workers get far heavier use while it lasts. A scope can carry a lighter routine for the quiet months and a heavier one for the harvest weeks, so the hours follow the work.
Distance, planned once
The drive from Adelaide to the river towns takes a few hours, so visits are grouped into blocks rather than sent one at a time. A periodic job, such as carpet extraction or a floor scrub, can share the trip with a regular visit in the next town. Travel is its own line in the scope.
