What changes across the region.

Three cities, three mixes

Port Pirie is the commercial centre for farming towns such as Crystal Brook and Redhill. Whyalla adds engineering, manufacturing, salt production and a university campus to its steelworks. Port Augusta serves highway traffic and has a hospital that is part of the Flinders and outback health network.

Industrial dust indoors

Towns beside a smelter and a steelworks get fine dust on sills, ledges and vehicle-tracked floors. It's wiped damp and mopped rather than dry-dusted, so it's lifted away instead of pushed back into the air, and entry matting is part of the scope.

A loop around the gulf

The three cities are close enough to plan as one circuit. Visits in Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Whyalla can be grouped into the same scheduling block, which spreads the travel across every site on the run.

Questions

Cleaning in Spencer Gulf: questions.

Can sites in Whyalla, Port Augusta and Port Pirie sit on one scope?

Yes. One scope can list several sites, each with its own areas, tasks, frequencies and visit times. They're worked as a single run, and each site gets its own visit record.

How is travel to the top of the gulf priced?

It's part of the written scope, worked out from the visit days and how many sites share the trip. What's in the scope is what the job costs; travel isn't added afterwards.

Our workshop and site office need different frequencies. Is that possible?

Yes. A site office and crib room might need a weekly visit while the workshop floor is scrubbed monthly or quarterly. Each area has its own line in the scope, so hours go where they're needed.

Will you complete our site induction first?

Yes. Inductions, PPE rules, sign-in steps and any exclusion zones are covered before the first visit, and they're noted in the scope so every visit follows them.

Plan the gulf run. One scope, several sites.

Tell us which sites you have in Port Pirie, Port Augusta or Whyalla. We'll walk them, or start from photos and floor plans, check inductions and shift times, and send a written scope with the run and the travel set out.
