The Copper Triangle
Kadina holds the council seat and the main shopping streets, Wallaroo has the deep-sea port and the hospital, and Moonta carries most of the Cornish heritage. Shops, clinics, offices and halls sit within a short drive of each other, so one trip can cover several sites.
Grain, farm roads and dust
Harvest sends grain trucks to the Wallaroo terminal, and dry summers put fine dust on shop floors, office ledges and entry glass. Matting, hard-floor scrubbing and high dusting are set at a frequency that follows the season instead of one setting all year.
Southern Yorke towns
Further south, Maitland, Minlaton and Yorketown hold the council offices, with Edithburgh, Stansbury, Port Vincent and Port Victoria along the coast. Sites there are smaller and further apart, so visits are grouped into planned runs and the scope names the day each one falls on.
