The depot: 83%, meeting standard

Inspected on 20 May 2026. The workshop floor and the bins scored excellent. Amenities, toilets, walkways and offices scored good, each with a note: marks on walls and doors, the edges near the doors to scrub, a floor scrub for the rear office, and the cleaners' room scrubbed weekly. The toilets were noted as a big improvement on the inspection before.

The food production site: 96%, above expectations

Inspected on 12 May 2026. Five of the six areas scored excellent. The one note was to clean the trays attached to the ovens and water baths. Office and kitchen staff gave positive feedback, and an order form was added to the cleaners' room so supplies are reordered before they run out.

Why it's written down

A score with notes gives the site manager something to check against next time, and gives whoever cleans the site the exact list. A walk-past that ends in "looks fine" gives neither.
