Safety first
Before starting, the crew walked the kitchen and logged the hazards. The floors were greasy, so ladders were only set up on floor that had already been cleaned.
What couldn't be cleaned was reported
The ceiling above the wash sink was damaged and mouldy. Cleaning wouldn't fix it, so it was photographed and reported rather than wiped over, and the client could arrange the repair.
The follow-up
Four days later the same contractor booked a second job at an outlet in Blackwood: two exhaust vents behind the counter, above the oven and the prep station, cleaned at 5:38 am and finished before opening. Both jobs were signed off by the site with five stars.
