Cheltenham lies between Port Road and Cheltenham Parade, split in two by the Outer Harbor railway line. Holden opened its Woodville plant here in 1923, and while that closed long ago, industrial sites still sit among the houses. The old Cheltenham Park racecourse next door is now the suburb of St Clair.
