Questions
Yes. A shutdown is the time for jobs that can't happen around running plant: degreasing floors under and around machines, scrubbing the whole production area, washing amenities top to bottom and high dusting. It's scoped and priced as a separate job, booked against your shutdown dates.
Often a lot of it can. Fresh spills come up with a degreaser and a scrub. Old stains soaked deep into bare concrete may lighten rather than disappear, and that's said plainly in the scope before work starts.
At least daily, and sometimes once per break pattern, with bins, benches, the microwave, sinks and fridge handles each time. The walk-through looks at how many people use it and when, and visits are set around the shift changes.
Yes. Your induction, PPE rules and any permit system come first. Exclusion zones, forklift routes and isolation steps are written into the scope, and the record gives each visit's start and finish time for your sign-in register.
Yes, with a pressure cleaner or a scrubber depending on the surface and the drainage. Wash water has to go to the right drain, so the walk-through checks where it runs before the method is set.
