Heritage surfaces
Old stone, brick, timber floors and original tiles don't respond well to harsh chemicals or high-pressure water. Methods and products are chosen surface by surface at the walk-through, and anything fragile is cleaned by hand.
The suburb of Tea Tree Gully grew from the 1850s village of Steventon, where North East Road climbs into the foothills. Heritage buildings such as the old Highercombe Hotel, now a museum, and the former council chambers on Haines Road sit among homes, small businesses and community sites on the edge of the hills.

Cleaning in Tea Tree Gully
Old stone, brick, timber floors and original tiles don't respond well to harsh chemicals or high-pressure water. Methods and products are chosen surface by surface at the walk-through, and anything fragile is cleaned by hand.
Community halls and meeting rooms here are booked by groups through the week. Cleaning follows the booking pattern, with floors, kitchens and toilets reset after the busiest days rather than on a fixed roster.
Trees and the slope of the foothills bring leaves, bark and soil onto paths and entries. Paved areas can be swept or pressure cleaned on a rotation, with lower pressure on old brick and mortar.

Questions
Yes, with the right method. Old timber is dust mopped and damp wiped with a neutral cleaner, never flooded. If the finish is worn, refinishing is a separate trade, and the scope says what cleaning can and can't do.
It can if the pressure is too high, because soft brick and old mortar erode. Heritage paving is cleaned at lower pressure with a surface cleaner or by hand, and a small test area is done first.
Not much. Tea Tree Gully is within metropolitan Adelaide, so visits are scheduled like anywhere else. The walk-through notes parking, steps and the route from the van to the door, so equipment can be carried in safely.
Yes. Many small businesses here open only some days, so the visit can fall on a closed day with access agreed in advance. The record shows the time-stamped start and finish, so you know it happened.
Within safe ladder height, yes, with extension tools. Higher eaves or roof areas on two-storey buildings are a separate high-access job, scoped with the method agreed first.
Meet us at your Tea Tree Gully site. We'll look at the floors, the paving, the washrooms and anything heritage-listed or fragile, then send a written scope with the tasks, the visit times and the price.
