Tonsley was cut out of Clovelly Park in 2017 to cover the old Chrysler and Mitsubishi car plant, which closed in 2008. The site is now the Tonsley Innovation District: research and engineering firms, advanced manufacturing, Flinders University and TAFE SA teaching spaces, and a growing residential village beside the Flinders railway line.

Cleaning in Tonsley
Many Tonsley tenants combine a fitted-out office with a workshop, test area or production space next door. The office gets the regular desk, kitchen and bathroom clean, while the technical space is scoped separately with its own rules on what can be touched.
Labs, clean assembly areas and equipment rooms often have their own entry requirements: shoe covers, no wet cleaning near benches, or sign-in with a supervisor. Those requirements are written into the scope, room by room.
Some buildings in the district are big, open structures with shared walkways, meeting areas and amenities used by several tenants. Shared areas need a clear line on who pays for what, so the scope lists exactly which rooms and floors are included.

Yes. The scope marks every room as included or excluded, and restricted rooms are left alone unless a staff member opens them and says what may be cleaned. Bins can be emptied at the door so nobody needs to enter.
Yes. The walk-through follows your lease lines, and the scope names your rooms, your kitchen and any amenities you are responsible for. Shared walkways stay with whoever manages the building, unless you agree otherwise.
Yes, with limits. Open floor areas are swept or scrubbed around the machines, and anything that needs isolation or guarding stays with your people. The scope records which zones are in and the exclusion distance around equipment.

A visit can be timed for lunchtime or between bookings to reset a boardroom or training room. Most of the work still happens after hours, with daytime touches scoped only where they help.
