Commercial cleaning, Virginia Commercial cleaning in Virginia. In the food bowl of the north.

Virginia is the centre of the Northern Adelaide Plains growing district, on Adelaide's rural northern edge with Port Wakefield Road passing through. Market gardens and glasshouses cover the plains, many watered with recycled water piped from the Bolivar treatment plant, and the area is also home to a motor raceway and a speedway.

Cleaning in Virginia

Sheds, crews and event nights.

Packing sheds and cool rooms

Produce sheds handle crates, cardboard and soil from the field. Floors are swept and scrubbed around the packing lines once work stops, cool rooms are done when they can be emptied, and food-contact surfaces stay with your own hygiene program unless the scope says otherwise.

Amenities for seasonal crews

Picking and packing crews grow and shrink with the season. Lunchrooms, toilets and change areas get heavy use at peak, so the scope can carry a busier frequency for those weeks and a lighter one when numbers drop.

Race and speedway nights

Motorsport events bring crowds out on event nights. Toilets, bars, canteens and seating areas are cleaned after the event, often early the next morning, and each event is scoped and booked on its own.

      Questions

      Commercial cleaning in Virginia: questions.

Can the packing shed floor be cleaned after the last shift?

Yes. Once the line stops, the floor is cleared of crates and debris, swept and machine scrubbed where the layout allows. The visit fits your shift times, and the record shows when it was finished.

Who looks after food-contact surfaces and equipment?

Usually your own team, under your food safety program. The scope can include benches, tables and equipment if you want, with the products and steps agreed in writing first, but that's your call.

Can amenities go to a heavier schedule during the peak season?

Yes. Two frequencies can sit in the scope, one for the busy months and one for the rest of the year. You tell us when the season starts and finishes.

Can you clean after a race meeting or event night?

Yes. The visit is booked for after the event, usually early the next morning, with the toilets, bars, food areas and seating listed. Larger events can be split across two visits.

Can the rafters and high areas in a shed be dusted?

Yes, as periodic work. High beams, light fittings and the tops of cool rooms are dusted from a scissor or boom lift, booked when the area below can be closed off and produce covered or moved.

Show us the shed. Floors, amenities and the season.

We'll walk your Virginia site with you, look at the packing area, cool rooms, amenities and office, ask about shift times and your peak season, and send a written scope with the tasks, frequencies and price.
