North end: Glenelg and the Patawalonga
The north of the council holds the busiest commercial ground: Glenelg's shopping strip, the Holdfast Shores waterfront and the boating lake at the Patawalonga. Venues there run long trading days, so the cleaning window is usually overnight or at first light.
Middle: Somerton Park and Brighton
Further south the suburbs turn quieter and more residential, with Sacred Heart College at Somerton Park, Brighton Oval, and the council's civic building on Brighton's Jetty Road. Sites here follow school terms, sporting seasons and office hours rather than tourist peaks.
South end: Seacliff to Kingston Park
The southern suburbs are mostly homes close to the coast, with a scattering of small shops, clubs and practices. Small sites like these get the same walk-through and written scope as a big one, with visits sized to the rooms they really have.
