Inside the heritage area
Goolwa's state heritage area takes in the wharf, the early commercial core and nearby streets. Older stone and timber buildings get gentle products on boards, stone and painted surfaces, and high dusting on a rotation.
Goolwa sits on the lower River Murray, close to the Murray Mouth and Lake Alexandrina, with a bridge across to Hindmarsh Island. Its heritage wharf precinct, cafés, boating and holiday homes give it a strong summer, while the Alexandrina Council offices and local services keep the town working all year.

Cleaning in Goolwa
Goolwa's state heritage area takes in the wharf, the early commercial core and nearby streets. Older stone and timber buildings get gentle products on boards, stone and painted surfaces, and high dusting on a rotation.
Cafés, galleries and visitor spaces near the wharf get their biggest crowds in summer and the holidays. Kitchens, toilets and entry floors are scoped for the busy months, with a lighter frequency through winter.
There's no JC depot in Goolwa. Travel is part of the scope and priced in, and visits are fixed to set days, with periodic work paired onto the same trip where possible. The walk-through can begin with photos and a floor plan.

Questions
Travel is built into the scope at the start. The trip, the time on site and any periodic work are set out in writing, and visits are fixed to set days so you know when to expect them.
Yes, and it usually makes sense. Carpet extraction, floor scrubbing or windows to safe ladder height can be booked onto a regular visit day, which saves a separate trip.
Yes, with care. Old timber, stone and painted surfaces are tested in a small spot first, and harsh or acidic products are avoided. Anything that needs restoration rather than cleaning is noted and left to a specialist.
It adds to it. Fine sand settles on sills, floors and outdoor furniture, and it scratches if it's dragged. Dust mopping before wet work, good entry mats and vacuuming hard floors stop most of the damage.
Tell us as early as you can. A one-off is booked onto the next open day and priced with its own travel, and the record shows when it was done and what was found.
We'll walk your Goolwa premises with you, or start from photos and a floor plan, look at the heritage surfaces, the kitchen and the entries, note your summer and winter trading, and send a written scope with the travel, the tasks, the frequency and the price.
