Crib rooms and change rooms
Sites running shifts use their lunchrooms, showers and toilets around the clock. Cleaning is timed for the gap between shifts, so the rooms are ready when the next shift walks in.
Millicent is in the Wattle Range Council, north-west of Mount Gambier, where the Princes Highway meets the Southern Ports Highway. A paper mill is the area's largest employer, pine and blue gum plantations surround the town, and it has a district hospital. That makes for change rooms, lunchrooms and offices that work around shifts.

Cleaning in Millicent
Sites running shifts use their lunchrooms, showers and toilets around the clock. Cleaning is timed for the gap between shifts, so the rooms are ready when the next shift walks in.
Plantation and timber work brings mud, bark and fine dust into site offices and vehicle bays. Hard floors need scrubbing more often than carpet, and high ledges, vents and lights are dusted as periodic work.
Shops, the council office on North Terrace and health services make up the town-centre work. These are smaller, quieter sites, cleaned after hours on set days and grouped with other south-east visits.
