Cleaning in Parafield

Classrooms, hangars and showrooms.

Flight schools

Flying training is the airport's main business, so there are classrooms, briefing rooms, simulator rooms and student lounges as well as offices. Those rooms see heavy daily use, and the scope puts desks, kitchens and washrooms on a frequent rotation.

Hangars and maintenance

Maintenance hangars have oil and fuel residue on the floor, parts stores, and offices built into one corner. The office and amenities are cleaned on a schedule, while the hangar floor is scrubbed periodically, when the aircraft are out and your engineers say the area is clear.

The retail and commercial precinct

The airport's business area near Kings Road and Main North Road holds retail, showrooms and commercial tenancies with large car parks. Shopfront glass, entries and sales floors are cleaned before trade, with pressure cleaning of paved entries listed separately.

      Questions

      Commercial cleaning in Parafield: questions.

Do you need airside access to clean our hangar?

Only if the hangar opens airside. Any passes, escorts or induction the airport operator requires are arranged before the first visit, and the scope records which areas are covered. Work stays inside the areas you've cleared.

Can the hangar floor be degreased?

Yes, as periodic work. Oil and hydraulic fluid stains are treated and the floor is machine scrubbed, with the dirty water picked up rather than hosed away. It's booked for a day when the aircraft and stands can be moved.

Our classrooms are used from early morning. When would you clean?

Usually in the evening after the last session, so the rooms are ready for the first briefing the next day. If flying starts at first light, the visit is timed to finish well before your first student arrives.

      Can simulator rooms be cleaned?

Floors, seating and outside surfaces can be, with screens and controls wiped only with products you approve. Anything inside the simulator stays with your technicians, and the scope lists exactly what's included.

Can you clean our showroom glass?

Yes. Shopfront and internal glass is cleaned to safe ladder height on a set frequency, usually more often on the entry doors than the rest. We don't clean panels above that height.

Take us around the airfield. Rooms, hangars and the counter.

Meet us at your Parafield site. We'll look at the classrooms, the hangar floor, the amenities and any access rules from the airport, then send a written scope with the tasks, the visit times and the price.
